Looking at the electoral schedule, the Buenos Aires Electoral Board of union for the homeland released this Thursday, June 29, a resolution after analyzing the “constitutional and legal requirements” of the pre-candidates to mayors of different districts of the Province of Buenos Aires, among whom is july zamoraaspirant to the re-election in the municipality of tigre. The controversy arose because the applicant registration in three ballots and four of his advisors, including a relative, submitted his resignation.

“Compliance with the constitutional and legal requirements of the pre-candidates has been controlled,” says Resolution No. 12, issued by the Peronist Electoral Board in the province.

After enumerating in the first article the irregularities for which “it is not possible to make official” determine lists of pre-candidates for mayors and municipal offices, the resolution shifts the focus to the case of Zamora, whose list was questioned by “triple candidacy in different political groups”.

Four members of Julio Zamora’s team resigned

The document emphasizes that the mayor and pre-candidate registered his application in the municipal groups “Tigre Comunidad de Vida” (of which he is the founder) and “Acción Comunal de Tigre”. Based on the foregoing, the candidate for re-election in Tigre will have four days to “clarify his situation” and the Board will resolve within five days.

In light of the criticism and controversy generated around Zamora’s candidacy, officials from his immediate environment, including his brother, resigned: he is the Secretary of Government and Secretary of Citizen Protection and brother of the community chief, Mario Alberto Zamorathe secretary of the treasury, Hannibal Mastroiannithe Secretary of Citizen Protection, Pedro Ridoszand the Undersecretary of Urban Networks, alberto vegnaduzzi.

In recent statements made in RadioProfileZamora defended his work as mayor by stating that thanks to his management the inhabitants of Tigre will enjoy “a lifestyle very similar to that of the City of Buenos Aires.”

“The substantial change that Tigre has had has to do with a process that Mayor Ricardo Ubieto began. Tigre substantially modified its composition as a result of many works that were from the provincial government at the time, with the Conurbano fund and later with its own municipal works “, clarified the pre-candidate who seeks his re-election.

He also referred to the ‘ups and downs’ of his relationship with Sergio Massa: “My current relationship with Massa is a normal relationship, a relationship between leaders who belong to the same space. Not tortuous. I am currently in conversation with him, he is in his space, which is the Renewal Front, I am within the Justicialista Party.”

In the event that Julio Zamora’s candidacy in Unión por la Patria is regularized, he must compete in the PASO with malena galmariniwho presented a platform of proposals related to health and stated: “Tigre wants more and better health and I am going to put my heart into achieving that reality”
