Interpol launched an arrest warrant against Daniel Óscar Cherutti, brother of Miguel Ángel Cheruttifor committing crimes against humanity during the last military dictatorship.
The man is 76 years old, he is a native of CañuelasProvince of Buenos Aires and has dual Argentine and Italian nationality.
According to the Interpol announcement, The man is charged with the unlawful deprivation of liberty of a total of 108 people and aggravated, for retaining them for more than a monthHe is also wanted for having tortured 104 people.
Another of the crimes that falls against him is the abduction of minors and He is credited with being a primary accessory to 19 homicides.
Cherutti’s role during the last military dictatorship
Daniel Cherutti worked since the 1970s as an agent of the exSIDE (State Intelligence Secretariat) and further on he carried out his services in two clandestine detention centers.
