The governor of Córdoba, Juan Schiaretti, registered last Wednesday the alliance We Do for Our Country with which he will compete in the PASO in August and will seek his place in the presidential grid in the general elections in October.

Córdoba will have provincial elections on the 25th of this month, just the day after the closing of the national lists. After the departure of Juan Manuel Urtubey from the front, in Schiaretti’s campaign command he began to evaluate the possibility of playing in the province of Buenos Aires regardless of the provincial and municipal categories on the ballot. This would imply that there would only be candidates for president, vice president, representatives for Parlasur, senators, and representatives.
As PROFILE was able to learn, the speculation that is circulating is that Schiaretti’s running mate is Florencio Randazzo, and the head of the list of deputies would be Hilda “Chiche” Duhalde, who signed up for the contest. What is clear is the difficulty that the Cordovan candidacy could have in developing an entire territorial structure in the largest and most populous province in the country, especially at a time when the most convening opposition spaces are JxC and the Javier Milei front. .
On the other hand, the Buenos Aires referent Graciela Camaño, who works near Urtubey, will not seek to renew her seat in the Chamber of Deputies and also her party seal, Third Position, was registered within the Juntos alliance. The agreement implies that Graciela will not be a candidate for said front. Schiaretti continues to have the support of economist Roberto Lavagna.
