Mourinho said no to the technical direction of the Brazilian National Team

The Brazilian National Team did not have the desired World Cup. The Canarian squad fell in the Quarterfinals against Croatia and as a consequence, Tite resigned from his position, which allowed the Brazilian Football Confederation to search for his replacement.

Two internationally prominent names appeared on the radar to take over the reins of the South American squad. Zinedine Zidane and José Mourinho are among the main candidates for leading a cast that will seek glory in the next World Cup.

In the last hours it was conceded that the Portuguese strategy would have made a decision about its future. The former Real Madrid coach rejected the Brazilian proposal in order to continue focusing on his work at La Roma, a team he currently leads.

In this way, the European coach continues to concentrate on the capital’s squad that is currently in sixth place in the vibrant Serie A in Italy.
