In dialogue with Radio Con Vos, the official detailed her proposal: “(With the 10,000 bill) I would play with something else that has to do with the hearts of the Argentines, with a symbolic ticket that has to do with the World Cup“.
When asked about a possible ticket with the face of the Argentine star, Batakis said “yes, totally”, without a doubt. “I understand that It is something that different nominalities are being analyzed, I heard it from the president (Alberto Fernandez) say it in an interview“, not allowed.
The proposal comes after the Central Bank (BCRA) board of directors approved last Thursday the issuance of a new $2,000 bill, which will be integrated into the real line of pesos.
“Other bill nomilities are being analyzed. It is an issue that is being discussed within the Executive Branch and with the Central Bank, and it is a necessity today,” Batakis said.
