JPMorgan will help Ukraine in debt capital markets

JPMorgan Chase & Co. provide consulting services to Ukraine in areas such as its sovereign credit rating and government liquidity management.

The President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelensky, met last week with members of the asset management division and the investment bank of JPMorganaccording to a statement from the Ukrainian government.

They signed a memorandum of understanding in which the Wall Street bank will advise Ukraine on reconstruction, in areas including debt capital markets, direct investment in infrastructure and development financing.

“The full resources of JPMorgan Chase are available to Ukraine as it charts its post-conflict growth path”said CEO Jamie Dimon.

Anton Pil, global head of the Alternatives team, and Stefan Weiler, head of debt capital markets for CEEMEA, were on the firm’s delegation in Ukraine, according to the Ukraine statement.

“I understand very well that doing business and investing cannot be beneficial for only one party,” Zelenski said. it’s a statement. “We want them to invest in Ukraine and earn money.”
