Four Argentine referees were designated for the Australia-New Zealand Women’s World Cup

Argentines Laura Fortunato, Mariana De Almeida, Daiana Milone and Salomé Di Iorio were appointed by the FIFA Referees Committee to lead the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. August.

Fortunato will go as the main referee; De Almeida and Milone will be assistants; and Di Iorio will be in the VAR team.

Fortunato is 37 years old and will have his second World Cup experience after his participation in France 2019like De Almeida, who was also in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo.

Milone, 29, performed in the Women’s Under 17 World Cup in Jordan 2016 yearrecords more than 30 games in the first division of Argentine men’s soccer.

Di Iorio is the most experienced of the group since her first international presence was in the JLondon 2012 Olympic Games and also participated in Women’s World Cup Canada 2015.
