The cause that investigates the attempted assassination of Vice President Cristina Kirchner continues with the “Copitos” on the bench, the lines that were promoted from the CFK environment seeking “political leaders” of the fact have not advanced, but in a new attempt to remove the cause from its inertia, the former president’s lawyers asked the federal prosecutor this Friday carlos rivolo to order test measures “to investigate the eventual responsibility of the City Police in the assassination attempt on September 1.”
“We come to urge that, after five months of investigation, probative measures be provided regarding the possible criminal responsibility of the Police of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires,” indicates the brief, presented by the lawyers José Ubeira and Marcos Aldazábal.
“Surprisingly, up to now, the Federal Police and the custody of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner have been investigated, but not by force with more presence in the place where the attack was planned and carried out,” indicates the document. The letter points especially against the Buenos Aires Minister of Justice and Security (on license use) Marcelo D’Alessandro.
The petition is addressed to the prosecutor Rívolo because it is he who has delegated the investigation by decision of Judge María Eugenia Capuchetti.
Among the proposed test measures, the letter from Cristina Kirchner’s lawyers considers that “The Ministry of Justice and Security of the CABA should be officiated to send the files of all the troops established in the security operations deployed around Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and her home, both personally and with respect to the Honorable Senate of the Nation and the Instituto Patria, between July 20 and November 1, 2022”.

In this context, Ubeira and Aldazábal point out that “On July 28, 2022, within the framework of an investigation for threats against the Vice President of the Nation, the prosecutor Leonel Gómez Barbella detected D’Alessandro that he could provoke violent acts at the Patria Institute, for which he asked to reinforce the site security.”
“As far as we know, Marcelo D’Alessandro did not refute the letter sent by the federal prosecutor, nor did he reinforce the security of the place. “It is only known, through public images, the sympathy and greetings exchanged between members of the City police and the attackers,” refers to the letter.
