President Alberto Fernandez during the day of Tuesday, February 7 that Bolivia joins the joint candidacy of Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay for the organization of the 2030 World Cup.
During the presentation for the reception of the international tournament, Fernández recalled the conquest of La Scaloneta in the last World Cup. “Our Argentine National Team presented the World Cup to our continent and it would be a great joy if, 100 years later, the World Cup returns to where it all began: South America”, highlighted on his Twitter account.
In addition, the president stressed the importance of hosting this championship in our continent and sustained. “This candidacy is from the entire continent. For this reason, I would like and I will propose that our sister country Bolivia be part of this dream”, pointed out.
It is worth remembering that the South American representatives will be competing with the proposal of Spain and Portugal, nations that plan to involve Ukraine in their candidacy.
