First the presidential candidate Sergio Massa integrated Daniel Scioli to his team as “special adviser” ad honorem on international issues and shared the photo of both hugging. This Wednesday, July 5, was the turn of the photo with santiago cafieroone of the protagonists of the failed candidacy of the Argentine ambassador in Brazil, to reinforce the message that there were no injuries with the resolution of the lists.
The photo Cafiero-Scioli arose from the Institutional, Technical and Commercial Mission of the metallurgical sectorheld between July 4 and 6 in the cities of São Paulo and Brasilia together with companies, sectoral chambers and trade union representatives.
This activity was framed within the Commercial Promotion Plan of the metallurgical sector 2023. Cafiero was received by the President of the São Paulo State Federation of Industries (FIESP), Josué Gomes da Silva. This entity is the largest in Brazilian industry and represents around 130,000 industries from different sectors, of all sizes and from the most diverse production chains.
Cafiero also led a public-private meeting for the promotion of exports from the Argentine metallurgical industrial complex in Brazil and with authorities from the National Association of Automotive Vehicle Manufacturers (ANFAVEA), an entity that groups manufacturers of automobiles, light commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, agricultural and construction machinery. This entity studies industry issues, promotes debates, prepares studies, collects data, and disseminates and coordinates the performance of its sector.
The head of the San Martín Palace pointed out that “there is intense work that is anchored to the development of MERCOSUR: our SMEs in the Buenos Aires suburbs, the first thing they look at when they want to have a plan to export is to Brazil, to MERCOSUR.”
In the same sense, Ambassador Scioli stated that “this new time in Brazil opens up extraordinary opportunities for us, functions for what industrial value chains are, what it means in a context of global crisis like the current one, to strengthen the globalization of regions”.
Massa’s hug to Scioli after the “betrayal”
The rapprochement movement with Daniel Scioli began a few days after the closing of the lists after whiche his daughter Lorena spoke of “betrayal” and one of his closest collaborators, Carlos Gianella, “invited” Santiago Cafiero to fight at the corner of Segurola and Habana, that place immortalized by Diego Maradona.
