World alert: an Argentine scientist reveals the date on which the Earth will disappear

In an announcement that causes huge surprise and bewilderment in the world scientific community, a The Santa Fe researcher revealed the exact date on which the end of the world will take place.

Is about Christian Giupponnescientist and adjunct professor at Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Astronomy of Córdoba (IATE) who, after carrying out several calculations, assured that the end of the world will happen in about a few 5,000 million years, at which timeI Sol will enter the last stage of his life and completely devour the Earth.

Giupponne based his hypothesis on the observations of stars similar to Sun that have shown a tendency to grow and become large enough to completely engulf the planets around them due to their powerful gravity.

“The planets with short orbital periods -approximately 10 days- they are located around stars like the sun that expands through the galaxy as they evolve and when they run out of fuel, they swell to a million times their original size, engulfing any matter in its path, including planets.”, explained the scientist also of the Technological Scientific Center (CONICET).

“That’s why, this phenomenon that will take place only in a few 5,000 million years can also cause the extinction of the closest planets to earth, such as Mars, Mercury, and VenusGiuponne added.

For its part, according to a study published in the journal Nature, the sun already has about 4.5 billion of years and it will be destroyed 1,000 million years after it swallows our planet.

“The main star of our system was changed into a giant red and it will burst like a White dwarf of the same dimensions as those of the Earth”, affirmed the specialists.

“A few ago 12,000 light years away a star devoured a planet the same size as Jupiter and now it will be Earth’s turn”, he concluded.
